So if any of you follow me on instagram or twitter you will have seen that at my latest weigh in at Slimming World I hit my first stone! I was so happy to achieve this goal, especially after only 6 full weeks on this ‘diet’/lifestyle change.
This week when I got on the scales I had lost an amazing -3lb. I was not expecting that at all. Even though I had been good all week and stuck completely to my Slimming World plan I didn’t feel like I had lost much, if any. I had big, filling meals, had one slip with a small piece of my niece’s birthday cake but also had some slimming world homemade cake. I think that was why I was so surprised by my loss, bringing me to a total of -15lb/-1 stone 1lb. Of course my Mum beat me with a -4lb loss, with a total of -23lb and was slimmer of the week yet again.
Whilst I have lost over a stone I have only just started to notice changes in my clothes fitting better and my jeans getting looser. This week at Slimming World people commented saying my face was looked different but both my Mum and myself haven’t had anyone outside of family/Slimming World who know we are losing weight comment on our weight loss. Whilst I’m not sure how different I look I can see a change in myself, getting a little more confident and definitely more happy.
Hitting this first goal is fantastic, my wedding weight loss plan originally was probably only to lose a stone before the wedding as I thought that would be such a hard task. Now I have 9 months to go so I will have to start thinking of some harder wedding weight loss goal. My next target will probably be my Club 10, which is when you have lost 10% of your body weight, I’m currently not too far off so that will be my next target to reach for I think.
