I love nail polish and nail art so much, it used to be a really big section of this blog until I started house renovations and then decorating my trashed nails seemed a little pointless. I will definitely be bringing more nail art ideas back in the future, once we are moved in! Here are some O.P.I color paints swatches, a new collection from O.P.I that I was sent to test.
The O.P.I color paints set includes 3 full sized polishes (15ml) as well as a high quality dual brush and dotting tool. The color paints are blendable nail laquers so have a slightly different outcome to what you may expect. The three shades in the set are the Silver Canvas Undercoat, Pen & Pink and Turquoise Aesthetic. The color paint polishes are very well made and vibrant, perfect if you love getting creative with your nails/nail art.
The polish that seems a little random and lets the set down for me if the undercoat Silver Canvas. It has high opacity and good coverage but leaves streaky lines on the nails and chips easily. Whilst the finish is pretty and it helps the colours pop, in the trio of shades I would have preferred 3 of the jelly look color paints and found my own white or silver to use as an undercoat.
The polishes are fantastic for layering, building upon and blending to create unique effects. Whilst the brush design looks very difficult it is actually very easy to do using the included brush and the color paint polishes. The colours for me work fantastically well together and I look forward to coming up with more combinations.
Have you tried any of the O.P.I color paints? Which of my O.P.I color paints swatches was your favourite?
