Over the last year and a half I have changed up my lifestyle with healthy eating and an increase in exercise. I love running now and always listen to different audio books, podcasts or spotify soundtracks as a bit of an escape from everyday worries. In the past I have worn Motorola Buds which are great as they have no wires, they just sit around your neck. The last few weeks I have been trying out new headphones, the newly released Miiego M1 wireless sport headphones. it was interesting to see how they compared as the Motorola Buds are half the price and now a little older.
Immediately from wearing these I can tell that they block out a lot more noise than the Motorola Buds. They have ear tips designed for noise isolation so block out a lot of external noise. They also only have a light, adjustable wire around the back compared with the Motorola Buds that rest around your neck.
The headphones themselves are very comfortable but also secure – great for running. Other perks are that they can be used in both cold and warm temperatures and are sweat, rain and moisture proof, another essential for my needs, available here.
For charging it comes with a handy standard micro-usb charging cable and the headphones deliver up to 8 hours of playing time per charge (not that I run for anything like that length of time!). Despite this decent battery the headphones are still very lightweight. Complaints with some of Miiego’s past headphone products was the short wireless range but these headphones cover up to 10 meters, so won’t cut out if in your pocket etc.
The sound quality for me is excellent, although I am no expert. The Miiego M1 Wireless Bluetooth Sport Earphones also come with the Miiego M1 water-resistant protective sport case which is handy and compact. The control buttons for the headphones are on the top of the right earpiece, which is easy to access. There is even a built-in microphone in the Miiego M1 so you can place and take calls – if you aren’t too out of breath!
