A few weeks ago I joined some wonderful Leeds bloggers for the Paul Mitchell Jingle Mingle Salon success event. The party was held at the Leeds Restaurant Bar and Grill where we had a lovely meal as well as some treats to try.
By far my favourite product I received from the night was surprisingly the brush. It may not look like much, but the Paul Mitchell Marula Oil Classic Dressing Brush does wonders for my hair. A very similar bristle design to the popular wet brush but with a more sturdy frame.
The brush glides through my hair, detangles it and instantly makes it feel very silky and smooth. My hair can now be thoroughly detangled with no pulling or tugging; I love using it on my hair both wet and dry.
It always amazes me how many products fall under the Paul Mitchell brand. I was introduced to Awapuhi at last years event, so was very happy to be taking home their essence of smooth wild ginger set. This range gives my dry ends more moisture and really revitalises my dull winter hair. I also really love the Mirrorsmooth high gloss primer to add a little shine as well as some heat protection.
A product I will be passing on to my Mum is the gem lites fashion colour care. This is shampoo that has a little dye to it so can be used to enrich your shade or to cover a few greys subtly.
A new brand I have enjoyed testing out is Kenra platinum repair and strengthen collection. The packaging is beautiful, and although my hair is in pretty good condition, I am always happy to use products that reduce breakage. I will definitely be trying the Kenra Platinum Hot Spray firm hold heat protection spray when I heat curl my hair over Christmas. It will be great to see if it can give a firm hold to my heavy hair, as well as protect it from heat damage.
