Today’s Fridays Face focus’s on the new Joan Collins make up range. Unlike a lot of celebrity make up ranges I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these items. Not only are the products pretty amazing and come in really thought out shades but the packaging is very luxurious and quite extravagant. The gold tones and angular, art deco designs run throughout the Timeless beauty range. If you would like to see some of my similar previous posts you can find them here.
The Eyeshadow Quad comes in 2 colour shade ranges, Golden and Silver. As you can see I received Silver and it is an intensely pigmented quad for creating an eye catching smoky eye. I love the grey and silver tones against my blue eyes, if you have brown or green eyes I would recommend having a look at the Golden Quad full of brown and gold tones. For a subtle look 3 of the shades have little shimmer but for a bit of a wow factor you can apply the intense silver shimmer shade to the centre of your eye to give your smoky eye a bit more depth.
I am also wearing the Contour Velvet Blusher in Rose, the brush in the set I found to be a bit useless so used my own but overall I loved this natural blusher effect. This blusher is really light and gives the skin a subtle rosy, light finish.
Both the nail lacquer and lipsticks come in matching shades named after some of Joan Collins fictional characters. The shades are all subtle and slightly varied reds, browns, pinks, purples and plum shades. In my Fridays Face I am not wearing the Alexis Divine Lips Lipstick as the shade is quite a deep, browny red and is too dark for my pale skin tone.
The cleanser is one of my favourite items from the Joan Collins Make up range. It is very light, non greasy and creamy. It removes all the make up and dirt from your face gentle and easily and feels very moisturising at the same time. It is pricey but come in a really large, heavy glass bottle and you get a lot of product for your money.

The cleanser actually sounds like the most appealing one to me, especially if it’s non-greasy. x
