CoppaFeel! is a charity that exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life.
Only 36% of young women between 18 and 35 check their boobs regularly. This is a concerningly low percentage. I am in love with the CoppaFeel ‘melons’ sports bra and Scentered’s Aromatherapy awareness kit sent to me to spread awareness about breast cancer and the importance of checking your boobs.
After finding a lump at the age of 22, one of the CoppaFeel! founders, Kris, was told that she had incurable breast cancer. She was unaware that breast cancer could affect people as young as her and knew very little about the disease, with few resources available to people in their twenties.
She set up CoppaFeel! with her twin sister Maren in 2009. CoppaFeel! ‘s mission is to ensure that all breast cancers are diagnosed early and correctly by encouraging you to check your boobs and pecs from a young age. Its mission is to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and empower everyone to seek advice from a doctor without fear. With the desire to get the message out there to young people that catching cancer early means you have a higher chance of surviving and recovering, the idea for CoppaFeel! was born.

From a boob-checking video to our step-by-step NHS-based guide, CoppaFeel! have broken down what you need to do in order to get to know what’s normal for you.
Boob checking is pretty simple once you start practising. Coppafeel has got some tips.
The order you choose to carry out these steps and check your boobs is up to you. But do remember to look and feel and repeat each step for each side of your boobs.
Remember to check-in and give your boobs some love!
