I was given the challenge to recreate one of the looks as seen at the just gone London Fashion Week, but with only a budget of £100. To get the look for less I have had to search high and low to find the best priced items to create this.
The style that inspired me the most was the military Burberry, double breasted silhouette jackets, gold detailing, lace up heels and leather backpacks. It was hard to come within budget on this look, especially with the price of most military jackets and coats. Here are some of the items that I selected from high street stores ASOS, Topshop and New Look. Not only did I stick to budget I came in far under, coming in at £87.98, which I think is pretty successful. Fortunately the Topshop Button Detail Mini Bodycon Dress by Rare was in the sale with £17 off. With the remaining budget you could add some striking accessories or maybe a hat.
I really love this look, block bold colours, a strong, powerful and sexy look. My favourite item from this is the New Look Black Pointed Lace Up Ghillie Heels, at £24.99 they are a great price and look so much more expensive than they are. I don’t often wear heels but I think they would definitely be my first pick!
My challenge can be found here and it would be really great if you could vote for my look!
