The Christmas party season is fast approaching so it is time to ditch your normal eyeshadow and add some glam with a little metallic or sparkle.
As you can see I have been having a play with the Eye of Horus Cosmetics Luminous Isis Eyeshadow Palette, a beautiful trio of metallics. All three shades lean towards brown so are perfect for an unadventurous girl like me, making a simple transition from everyday nudes and browns to those a little more glam.
The three shades in the palette are Enigma Myst, a pinky tone with little pigment but that does work well as a highlight under the brows or to add a subtle shimmer across your lids. The second shade, Chalice Bronze, has a far stronger pigmentation and gives a wonderful, luxurious feel. The final shade is Sacred Husk, again a bold metallic but with more orange undertones than Chalice Bronze.
This isn’t the first time I have been impressed by Eye of Horus Cosmetics, if any of you have missed my posts on these or want to find out more from the brand you can read about them here and here. This product is a little pricy, especially for the cardboard packaging. However I do think that the quality of the product is good, it is a great eyeshadow trio and I love the black and gold design, it is so unusual and really stands out.

I have to admit, that even if I’m not a fan of those light browns eyeshadows normally, this one is very beautiful!
