Essie have released a sneak peek of their upcoming winter range, the Essie Winter 2015 Virgin Snow Collection. I am a big fan of Essie seasonal collections; Essie’s collections always share a name with one of the polishes in the set and this time is no different. The shade names in the Essie Winter 2015 Virgin Snow Collection include Virgin Snow, Apres Chic, Peak Snow, Altitude Attitude, Shall We Chalet? and Haute Tub.
Although winter is a long time off yet these six shades look so pretty with sparking hues and crisp shades. It is also hinted that these limited edition polishes will glow in the dark with the tag line, “The best way to see the virgin snow? I suggest you turn down the lights.” I’m intrigued to see this effect, whether people will enjoy it or find it a little gimmicky.
For nail salons Essie offer a 12 or 36 nail polish display stand and for those of you who like mini sets there is a 4 pieces mini set too which will include shades – Haute Tub, Apres Chic, Virgin Snow and Shall We Chalet? Essie mini sets are fantastic if you are a real nail polish addict like me but never manage to finish a full-sized bottle of polish.
Whilst these are icy, snow queen shades they are all wearable and frosty, shades that I definitely cannot wait to try and get a lot of use out of. At the moment, for Essie, the collection looks a little underwhelming after some of last years collections like Essie Winter Luxeffects Collection and Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low Collection – Winter 2014. Hopefully this is just a taste of what too come and Essie will have several wintertime releases for us again!
The US Launch date is for September 2015 but isn’t specified for the UK, based on prior years probably mid-October. Be sure to keep an eye out in Boots, Superdrug and Debenhams in the UK for the Essie Winter 2015 Virgin Snow Collection release!
These are such lovely colours
