Whilst in Germany I did a little make up haul and picked up quite a few pieces from the new essence palette range for my Mum and two sisters. I picked up for them All about Roses for my sister Rose, because of her name and olive skin that looks great with rosy shades. All about Greys was for my sister Grace, again because of her name and I thought the shadows would look great with her blue eyes. For my Mum who likes minimal natural makeup, easy to apply on the go I picked up All about Nudes. I hadn’t bought them with the intention of blogging about them, I picked up the All about Vintage and All about Bronze for myself, and was quite envious to give them away but when I got back I came home to a press sample of all three palettes!
These palettes are very affordable, they are available in Wilkos for £4 each, and have a lovely mix of 8 matte and shimmer shades. I’ve done some swatches to show how they look on the skin, as you can see there are shades for everyone’s complexion and taste and they are very pigmented. The 8 shades all compliment each other well but you do need an eyelid primer if you are looking for something that is long-lasting.

They are perfect little compacts for on the go, you do need your own brush but I never really like the brushes that come with palettes any way. The palette shades are all so beautiful but they have a very creamy texture and are buildable for a more dramatic or evening look.
These really look so pretty! I’ve been adding items to my wilko basket all night and will certainly be looking for these now too :)

Those palettes are so beautiful! I love the shades, especially all the neutral colors.

I have the Roses, the Nudes and the Greys. Really love them. Essence is generally a great brand, they are very affordable and I’m usually satisfied with the quality.
