For the past year I have been working alongside essence as a part of their team behind the bloggers beauty secrets trend edition.
I have shared the announcement as well as going in depth with a little detail about my own palette, the essence cosmetics shape & shadows eye contouring palette as well as Serena’s palette, the essence cosmetics the glow must go on bronzing & highlighting palette. Today I am sharing with you Palmira’s beautiful palette, the essence cosmetics vintage rose eye palette!
This palette is unique and different from the others in the collection as it is a palette solely dedicated to the eyes. It is also the only palette in the collection with 7 elements to it, the rest only have 6 pans or 6 different shades.
Palmira‘s palette has 6 different shadows in the collection but also has a gel type liquid eyeliner in a dark brown shade. In the set are 3 matte tones, 2 shimmer shades and also a holographic highlighter.
The shadows are split into two different hues for creating eye looks, there is a mauve muted pinky purple or a more natural brown choice.
Here are the swatches from the palette – shimmer on you (sparkle, metallic pale pink), velvet rose (matte rose pink), charming mauve (matte dark mauve), hazel eyes (matte natural nude brown), earth & love (gold shimmer brown), hello glow (rose gold iridescent, holographic highlighter) and secret key eyeliner (dark brown gel).
As you can see the shades compliment each other really well and have a fantastic range for creating some beautiful eye looks. With the eyeliner, shadows and a brush that is soft, tapered at one end and fluffy at the other you have everything you need all in one set.
I know that Palmira was really hoping for the eyeliner in the set to be black and it is such a shame that this could not be done. If it was a black eyeliner the palette instead of a brown would be perfect as I only really wear black eyeliner.
I am in love with Palmira‘s palette, it is so pretty in pink. I love the shades, the texture of them then all finished off in gorgeous packaging.
This is such a lovely palette! I really adore that Essence come out with such affordable options.
This is really pretty and I love the shades too x
