If you are a regular reader of Strikeapose you will have seen my latest annoucement as well as my blog posts going indepth, giving a little detail, review and swatches on the essence cosmetics shape & shadows eye contouring palette, the essence cosmetics the glow must go on bronzing & highlighting palette and the essence cosmetics vintage rose eye palette.
Now I am sharing with you the final palette in the bloggers beauty secrets trend edition, the essence cosmetics touch up to go one for all palette!
This palette was designed by Diana and as you can tell from the name of the palette this is an all rounder type of palette.
The palette Diana designed is for all you busy girls, or those of you looking for an all purpose makeup item with little fuss. She wanted everything you need to touch up throughout the day with no hassle.
The palette contains a large duo blush, 3 different eyeshadows and also a clear lip balm. The brush in the set has a small angled, tapered end and a soft fluffy brush at the other.
The blush is quite a vibrant shade for me but doesn’t look as bright when worn. The two shades can be worn together or separately but there is no brush in the set for applying them however they do have a creamy powder texture so you may be able to apply this just with your finger tips.
The shades in the palette are – on the mauve eyeshadow (matte mauve lilac), coffee to go eyeshadow (matte medium ash brown), shine of eyeshadow (copper/rose gold iridescent shimmer), peach & party blush (bright pink left, peach orange blush right) and finally the one for all balm (clear balm).
The one aspect of the palette I don’t like is the balm scent, it is a little strange and chemically. It would be great on the go to have a lip balm in the set as I use one all the time but the scent put me off and I had to remove the product after a few minutes.
I love Diana‘s palette concept and think it will be so useful when on the go or having handy if travelling and I need to pack light.
This is such a great idea for a palette!
What a great idea for a palette! So easy to follow and compact enough for us to slip into our bag when touching up make-up on the go. Thank you for a great post!
