Burberry Event – Meadowhall Meet

First off a massive thank you to Georgina and Kariss for helping supply the images for this post, not that I rushed from work, hit traffic, ran very late to the bloggers event and then turned on my camera to realise I hadn’t brought an SD card…

After that little mishap, and a big thank you to the girls for letting me snap away with their cameras, I was actually able to enjoy the Burberry event. This Meadowhall beauty bloggers event was to show off the new Burberry stand that has now arrived in Boots.

We all went home with little bags with two small samples of their My Burberry Eau de Parfum which smells so nice. I loved the full sized  bottle which has been designed around the infamous Burberry trench coat, from the button lid, fabric trim and font used on the bottle coming from the designers own hand writing.

We tried out and sampled the makeup Burberry offer which I have never really experienced before but it was all very high end, good quality products that were well thought out. They come with magnetic packaging which is a great feature and their collection is well worth a look as the pricing was pretty reasonable.

I had such a lovely time at the Burberry blogger event and an even better time at the end having a natter and catch up with some of the other bloggers – Lucy, Georgina and Kariss.  After the event I received in the post some of their gorgeous Fresh Glow BB Cream in shade No.1 Fair which should hopefully brighten up my skin and give it more of a glow this winter! My skin is a little sallow at the moments so this light weight hydrating cream is adding back some moisture and luminosity.
