Bloggers festival

For those of you who follow me on my other social media you will know that I was recently down in London for the first Bloggers Festival. A fairly massive event with over 160 bloggers and plenty of beauty, food and fashion brands. It was lovely to meet so many other bloggers as well as getting to talk to some of the brands about their products, getting a bit more knowledge or hearing more of the personal side about what goes into their items.

One of the nicest to talk to at the event were Bee Good, a fairly new product range all made by British Bees. The team behind the name is a husband and wife who took their love of bee keeping and created a skin care range using the excess honey and wax.  They are now stocked in Waitrose and have no animal testing. They have a range of lip balm, hand cream, moisturisers, cleansers and cleansing water. I love anything honey and have recently been sent their 2-in-1 Honey and Propolis Cream Cleanser to try out which I am looking forward to sharing with you. There is something about this home grown brand with its high quality products, awesome branding and with such a friendly creation team that has made their range really stand out for me as something special you should try.

Another stand that I took a real interest in was Cloud Nine. GHD is my go to for heat styling products, it always has been and for me is one of the constant best and Cloud Nine is an affiliate of GHD. Their products have the same high quality but with a difference, the products have heat control. If you’ve loved GHD but wish it could be used on a cooler temperature then these are the heat styling tools for you. Research has gone in to a special coating on the products so that they perform better on cooler temperatures too. I had my hair curled/waved with their jumbo tong, the waving wand, to create large, loose, carefree body to my hair. I also came away with a bottle of their magical quick drying potion, a 2 part spray that claims to reduce hair drying time by half! I will keep you updated on my results with it.

Other stands that I really liked were the Lee Stafford hair products, I have really liked their hair spray so I am looking forward to using their huge radial brush and hair oils. The last stand that really caught my eye (as it was for your nails) was the IZ Beauty of London. High quality nail stickers that are easy to apply but also have a really nice range of designs.

I am an Australian based blogger and would love to go to a blogger event like this. Perhaps when my page is a little bigger! Congratulations on one year!

Sorry I didn’t realise I’d linked so many links in this box section! God knows how I’d managed that…I wasn’t at the front of the computer queue for sure…I’ve unfollowed now as I don’t want you to have to keep putting my comments to spam. Best Wishes.
