Mememe Cosmetics – Lip Glide and Goddess Eyes Quad

I have been a big fan of the few Mememe products I have tried in the past, you can see some of my previous blog posts on this brand here. From highlighters to mascaras, lipsticks, nail varnish and eye liners their quality has always impressed me so I was excited to try out some of their new products; A newly launched item, the Mememe Lip Glide Velvet Finish Lip Colour Rich Truffle and the metallic brown Mememe Eye Inspire Baked Eyeshadow Goddess Eyes Quad 02.

I am a big fan of browns, bronzes and coppers around my eyes and this quad is a perfect blend. The shades really compliment each other and make a lovely travel item. The shimmer white is great for the corners of your eyes and below your eyebrows. You can see from the photographs that it isn’t a very pigmented palette but is great for a subtle and more natural metallic eye.

I am a big fan of this Lip Glide shade, brown 90’s lips are currently so popular and this leaves my lips a lovely strong matte finish without being drying. Although I love the actual product I find it is brought down by its packaging which is really disappointing. The lip glides do not twist up like almost every lip product on the market, they have to be sharpened. It feels like such a faff when there are so many cheaper lip crayons available that twist up. The pencil is strong plastic and very wide so I would need to get a strong large sharpener if I were to continue using it (which I don’t plan on once I have used the initial tip). If the packaging in the future improved these would definitely be a range of lip colours I would purchase.
