Crochet Jewellery – Groove and Stitch

Groove and Stitch, the creators of crochet jewellery sent me some of their beautiful stud designs. I had a look through their different options when picking the colours I would like and whilst their website isn’t the easiest to navigate through, chose these lovely flower designs. I was asked to pick two designs, one from their regular thread and the other from their metallics collection, so I chose the Wedding White Stud Earrings and from their Metallix Line the Cherry Blossom.

I was so excited when these handmade pieces of crochet jewellery came through the post for me. They are so sweet and much stronger than I had expected. There are two quite sturdy layers of crocheted petals with a simple gem in the middle. The earring backs are  a gold colour metal with butterfly backs. I think they are such nice designs, I just wish the inside gem could have been customisable so it could have been yellow to create a daisy look. The packaging isn’t the highest quality but does give an independent, individual, handmade feel to the items. I often react to earrings that aren’t silver or gold so I won’t be able to wear these for long periods of time, maybe this will become an option as this company grows?
