Last thursday I attended a fantastic beauty blogger event hosted by World Duty Free. The event was an after hours pamper session with different brands in duty free at Manchester airport followed by a stay at the Radisson Blu. As well as an amazing time with all the different brands I also met some really lovely new beauty bloggers, some I’m sure you will recognise, in the picture above I am with bloggers Clare and Beth.
One brand that I love and I am sure is on many of your Christmas lists is Jo Malone so I was really excited to have their treatment. We had a chance to browse their store and look longingly at all their beautiful items and scents. We then had a little hand massage using some of their items, combining to tailor your scent. I prefer slightly sweet, fresh smells and had a combination of Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne and the Wood Sage & Sea Salt Eau de Cologne combined with the Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body & Hand Wash and Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body Creme for the hand massage.

We visited some of the other stands in duty free in pairs, Clare and I first went to the Estée Lauder counter first where they showed us highlighting and contouring techniques. I asked about foundation with a little more coverage as I have had break outs and found a foundation that I loved in the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation.
We also visited the Mac stand where I had No.43 eyelashes applied and found a great nude combination lipstick for my skin tone – Modesty lipstick with Viva Glam VI lipglass over the top. I would never have chosen the No.43 eyelashes from looking at them but after seeing a few of the designs placed on my lashes I realised that these made them look fuller and thicker but still quite natural.
A big thank you to World Duty Free for a fantastic time and event and to all the lovely bloggers I met!
