On Friday I attended the launch of Lamberts Yard Leeds, a new creative event space. The aim of Lamberts Yard is to support emerging designers and promote Leeds as a leading international centre for fashion design, clothing and manufacturing.
Their mission is to support strong independent designers and that showed from the stunning jewellery, fashion, knitwear and accessories on display.
For any emerging artists or fashion designers there is also going to be an events and exhibitions hire space. They are home to the Leeds Fashion Initiative, a collaboration with local arts charity Regeneration Through the Arts, Leeds City Council and the Centre from Fashion Enterprise. This ground breaking project aims to provide business and marketing support and representation and training for emerging fashion designers.
Also at the event were WAHLondon, a pop up nail station. This pop up shop will be there in Lamberts Yard until January so go check them out before its gone. I had my nails done at the event but also had a different design applied by them yesterday so there will be a full write up on them later. If you want to see my new beautiful nails there are some pictures on my instagram.
At the Lambert Yard Leeds event I had a mini manicure, 4 nails of colour and one design. On my nails I have the WAH London Building Blocks Basecoat, Expensive Taste, Biters Beware, Your love is One, Y2K Mirror Shine and Classy Glassy Glossy Topcoat. My friend Bethany also got her nails done in a similar design but with purple and sparkly polishes which worked really well.
Lamberts Yard Leeds had some amazing items, quirky and unique that would make some really nice gifts if you are passing by. I wanted to share with you this table that had some really cool products for men. I loved the beard conditioner and shampoo but did put it back when I saw the £25 price tag.
i love the place! Everything looks so cute!
Great job!
love
