Summer Evening Wish List
Summer evenings can be hard to dress for, going out in hot weather but remaining cool, glam and un-sticky can be difficult. If you need more inspiration then check out my previous wish lists here. The main item I coordinated this outfit around is the beautiful Love Women’s Strapless Jumpsuit.
Jumpsuits are great evening summer wear and this pastel blue jumpsuit is bang on trend (and at a very reasonable price). If you have an hourglass or curvy figure this jumpsuit is very complimentary with its sweetheart neckline, clinched waist and tapered trousers. Keep it fresh, light, breathable and chic with a light kimono on an evening such as the Jacques Vert Dark Kimono with fab tropical print.
Maybe my favourite and cheapest item on the list is the Barry M Nail Paint Matt White. White polish is key this summer, its fresh, clean, bright and is so complimentary when juxtaposed with a tan! I love a matt textured polish for a unique and subtle finish.
On a hot night I tend to leave dark eye liner alone and keep my eyes looking fresh and bright with a little neutral eyeshadow and some emphasising mascara. The Stila in the Light Eye Shadow Palette looks like a beautiful natural set to compliment and eye colour and skin tone. There are some lovely colour combinations you can make with this palette and if you have tried it let me know your opinions on it in the comments below. I am never daring with nail polish colours and I always stick to my standard french manicure which I have been doing on myself for years and years now. I recently ventured into an opaque nude though, so now I’m thinking the white one could be the next on the list? :) xx Lara

The Stila “In The Light” Palette is quite honestly the love of my life. It is without a doubt my favourite eye palette-and probably makeup product. The textures are so amazing and the pigmentation is crazy! “Kitten” applies best with your finger or a flat brush to get the best color payoff. They can also be used wet or dry :) Ahhh I love this palette so much, every beauty lover needs this in their collection.
