LUSH HALLOWEEN 2018 EVENT – SPOOKY BATH BOMBS
Another year for all the ghoulish, spooky bath products to appear on the Lush shelves! As you know I love Lush, often sharing posts about their new stock. A few old favourites mixed in with a new bath bomb and an original glow in the dark soap!
Monsters’ Ball Bath Bomb combines Himalayan Salt, Lime Oil, Neroli Oil and Olibanum Oil. A mash-up of uplifting oils, skin softening Himalayan salt and zesty, energising lime oil.
Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb combines Popping Candy, Black Pepper Oil, Patchouli Oil and Vanilla Absolute. A spicy blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. This bath bomb drew inspiration from the ruler of the pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule. While the exteriour has a deep green, this slowly froths away to reveal a vibrant, wine-coloured centre. Shortly after this, you will begin hearing the popping candy crackles!
The brand new Eyeball Bath Bomb mixes refreshing and rejuvenating Brazilian Orange Oil with Soothing and toning Rose Absolute, Balancing and calming Lavender Oil and Sweet and heady Ylang Ylang Oil. A softening floral fizzer filled with ylang-ylang and lavender oils and blood orange water.
Bewitched Bubble Bar combines sweet and woody Olibanum Oil and uplifting and cleansing Bergamot Oil. Crumble this lucky little cat under the water, ground yourself with spicy olibanum, relax with uplifting bergamot oil and breath in this familiar blackberry scent.
Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar combines Juniperberry Oil, Lime Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Cornflour, finished off with a cinnamon stick. Crumble your sparkling pumpkin up under running water to build a mountain of soft bubbles. With warming Juniperberry and uplifting grapefruit and lime to brighten both your skin and your mood.
Ectoplasm Jelly Bomb offers uplifting and refreshing Grapefruit Oil, rejuvenating Tangerine Oil and relaxing Litsea Cubeba Oil. Gooey jelly is released and oozes across the surface of your bath. Rub in the jelly, as you would a shower gel before it dissolves to soften your skin.

Ghost in the Dark Soap is another new product. Utilizing uplifting and cleansing Bergamot Oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and Lemongrass Oil. A cute, little ghostly shape that will glow in the dark!
Ectoplasm Naked Shower Cream and Ectoplasm Shower Scream Cleansing and toning Tangerine Juice, Uplifting and refreshing, Grapefruit Oil, Moisturising and conditioning Almond Oil and relaxing Litsea Cubeba Oil. Ectoplasm is a rather luminous shower gel, it is down to personal preference for which formula you prefer. On a blind test at the Meadowhall Lush Halloween Event 2018, I preferred the liquid Ectoplasm Shower Scream. The Ectoplasm Shower Scream left a scent on my arm for longer, and I found the Ectoplasm Naked Shower Cream left a film residue on my skin.
